Book update!

First, a big thank you to everyone who follows my blog, has taken part in one of my wellness programs in the past or just likes what I post on social media!

I am so grateful to be able to share my mission on these platforms every day.

You may have heard me mention about a gazillion times that my first book is being released in January (so soon!) so I wanted to post a quick update.

The publishing process is brand new to me so I am learning a lot and it is very exciting.

This morning I spoke to my project manager and decided on a selling price for the book. We’ll be working on final approvals for the cover next and then it’s off to print!

Of course, I will let you know as soon as it is available to buy.

If you are thinking about buying a copy simply because you know and love me (hi, family) thank you!

For everyone else who may want to know what is about first, here’s the book summary from the back cover:

Stop Making Yourself Miserable: How to Climb off the Diet and Exercise Hamster Wheel and Step into Authentic Wellness by Rachel Aldrich Rader

“I know what I have to do, I just have to do it”. How many times have you said this to yourself in regards to your diet or exercise routine? You’re not alone. As women, we’ve been conditioned to believe that this is something that should be important to us.  But why? Most women spend their lives on a quest for that perfect plan only to get stuck in a cycle of failure and guilt. Rachel Aldrich Rader was one of these women for most of her life even as she was working as a Personal Trainer and trying to set an example for others!

In “Stop Making Yourself Miserable”, Rachel draws on her own personal and professional experience to show why this line of thinking does NOT create the results you’re looking for – despite what the fitness industry would have you believe. Instead, she dissects the thought processes and beneath-the-surface beliefs that hold women back and gives practical, simple advice to empower you to create the healthy lifestyle you’ve always wanted. No guilt, no perfectionism, no green smoothies.

I have to admit, it’s a little weird to think that my words will be distributed far and wide very soon. This is nerve-wracking for a recovering control freak like myself!

I am emboldened by the idea that there are women out there who have maybe never considered my point of view and they will be encouraged by the message.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your support. It means the world to me!
